By using state of the art manufacturing, materials and techniques theoffers performances previously only available from the most expensive online analyzers.

 

The Ammonitor uses the dynamic standard addition method for the determination of Ammonia. After each injection of the sample a fixed volume of a known standard will be added to the reactor and the final result will be calculated from the sample signal and the signal produced by sample + standard. This way matrix effects will be compensated. The standard addition volume will be calculated automatically based on the signal produced by the sample.

 

New electrode technology

The ion selective electrode includes the reference electrode which reduces the maintenance requirements and makes the operation of the instrument even easier and more cost-effective.

 

 

Software controlled operation

All software functions are help screen supported, in addition to the operation manual which provides information for routine operation and service. Data is easily transferred via serial or parallel interface to a measuring station for further processing or remote access.

 

For industrial and municipal wastewater treatment plants (WWTP)

The Ammonitor is suitable for almost every Ammonia measurement in sewage treatment and industrial applications.

 

Auto-ranging allows the determination of Ammonia values up to 1,000

mg/l. This extremely wide measuring range covers most monitoring

and process control needs.

 

Optimized use of chemicals

The method is optimized for low reagent consumption. Reagent use is typically as low as 2.5 liters per month based on a 100 analyses per day. The net result is outstanding and uncomplicated operation.

 

Maintenance and filtration-free sample preparation

The patented sample preparation system Flow Sampler works filtration-free. The sample is taken from the center of the sample stream against the direction of the flow eliminating all large particles. Smaller solid particles will be included in the sample, resulting in the most representative sample possible reaching the analyzer.

 

Reliable Ammonia Analysis

The principal advantage of the Ammonitor is the use of the standard addition method. All other method will suffer major interferences as a result of matrix influences. The standard addition method eliminates those matrix effects by running an internal standard with every sample. Furthermore, the standard addition method compensates for electrode drift, resulting in a more stable calibration.

 

The Ammonitor is delivered configured for the required application. Just connect the power, sample and reagent lines and the instrument is ready for use. The maintenance requirements are very low: typically just reagents and tubing have to be renewed on a scheduled basis.
