PRODUCT OVERVIEW

LAR's BioMonitor BOD analyzer provides continuous, reliable BOD concentration data in only minutes. The patented design operates exactly like a miniature wastewater treatment plant. The unique design features two cascade reactors that ensure complete bio-degradation of the sample in the fastest time possible, for consistent and accurate correlation to BOD5.

 

In addition to BOD, the BioMonitor simultaneously monitors the endogenous respiration of your plant's activated sludge, for precise control of the treatment plant biomass. This enables plant operators to safeguard the biomass from sudden, or long-term toxic shock.

 

The BioMonitor is ideal for intelligent load equalization (ILE). ILE optimizes biotreatment efficiency, and controls large variations in organic loading by using existing equalization capacity more effectively.

 

LAR's FlowSampler provides completely automated operation, robust engineering and proven filterless sample preparation, ensuring reduced maintenance and reliable on-line operation for many years.
