The QuickCODultra Online COD Analyzer
QuickCODultra Monitors Chemical Oxygen Demand
Fast, Accurate, Low-maintenance Monitoring of COD, TOC, TOD or Nitrogen
Continuous batch, three-minute Oxygen Demand Without Chemicals or Byproducts.
The QuickCODultra is an online measurement system for the measurement of Oxygen Demand (COD) using thermal combustion, giving a result within minutes, even in difficult sample matrices. The QuickCODultra is suitable for almost every COD measurement in sewage treatment and industrial wastewater applications. Typical online applications are plant effluent monitoring, waste water treatment (influent and effluent water), detection of organic spills and product loss (e.g. in chemical, petro-chemical and food processing plants).
The LAR QuickCODultra is an online COD/TOD measurement system for the measurement of chemical oxygen demand and suitable for the most difficult wastewater applications.
Combustion at 1200°C guarantees the complete oxidation of the sample. Even loads with salt concentration of up to 20% and in the case of NaCl as much as 30%, are easily melted at this temperature. LAR's method works without dangerous and caustic substances. No disposal is needed for analysis residue, cleaning solutions or harmful reagents. This means a high level of safety, and ease of operation is guaranteed at all times.
LAR's unique robotic system is capable of transporting and measuring high-solids content without sample filtration. The QuickCODultra is designed to operate in batch mode. COD analysis takes place in 3 minutes. This speed guarantees that very short peaks can be measured during a daily cycle.
